Harvesting spring wheat in Montana and North Dakota.

August finds part of the crew in northern North Dakota, as they entered the last weeks of the 2007 wheat harvest. Hauling wheat between the

combines and the trucks is the other tractor and grain cart. This tractor is set-up for use as a fork-lift to handle headers.

Heading for the final days of the wheat harvest in North Dakota, one of the combines and a hopper bottom trailer lead the convoy.

This is a long way from the days of chuck-wagon meals.  The fellows stop at a Subway for sandwiches while heading to

their next stop in Montana.  The guys are Shawn, Mike and Justin.

In the final days of the wheat harvest a brilliant sunset reflects off the equipment in northern North Dakota. The next stop will be

Evansville, Minnesota to prepare the equipment for corn and soy beans.

Three combines with bean heads await their time harvesting beans.

A loaner combine headed out.  This one was wide enough it had to have its wheels removed before heading out.

Here's Number 6 about to head out to begin the corn harvest.
